By Road : Thanjavur is approximately 360 kilometers south of Chennai.
By Train : It takes 8 hours to get here from Chennai and 12 hours from Bangalore city.
By Air     : The nearest airport to Thanjavur is Tiruchirapalli which is about 60 kilometers away. There are daily flight from Chennai and Bangalore. Onward connections to other parts of India can be conveniently routed.
